THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO

I still consider our second opera The Marriage of Figaro, our best. We set it in modern times and
followed, to a large extent the idea and translation by Tony Britten of Capriol film who kindly
allowed us to use his text and dvd. One of the cast, Mariolive Mungai taking the role of the
countess, won a scholarships to the U.K largely also thanks to the experience and exposure she
received from appearing in this opera.
